OUR MISSION

 

Our mission first and foremost is to stop the burning at the dump permanently. After the burning is stopped we want to help the Los Cabos community find ways to successfully deal with the waste management issue.

Zacatitos residents were again exposed to toxic smoke coming from the Los Cabos municipal trash dump. A thick cloud covered the entire community.

May 6 Residents meeting with Muncipal President Rene Nunez Cosio

Los Zacatitos and East Cape residents, real estate brokers, environmentalists and teachers - approximately twenty in all - met newly installed Mayor Rene Nunez Cosio and his staff at San Jose del Cabo City Hall offices on May 6th 1 p.m. to discuss with the city administration our ongoing Palo Escopeta Dump burn problems, recycling, education and the environment.

Call to Action Tuesday, May 6 Municipal Palace

On January 21 our community of Los Zacatitos presented ourselves to the Municipal President Luis Armando Diaz along with the Ecological department and Servicios Publicos with our concerns of the Palo Escopeta landfill burning, producing toxic smoke, unfit for our families to breathe.
